Are you more documentary, traditional or both?
We have found that our clients really like our photojournalistic style that is apparent with all of our coverage options, but that they also want some classic photographs of their families and wedding party. We have been told that people really like the "non-posed" look of our classic photographs.
Do you use an assistant or a second photographer?
We will provide at least two photographers for you on your wedding day.
Film or Digital?
We have found that, in the past few years, the quality of digital photography has surpassed that of film. The images are sharper, have better color, and do not have grain.
In addition, it allows us to shoot more and to be a lot more creative with the final images that you receive
If you use digital, do you shoot in RAW?
Yes. Raw is a format that is much higher in quality than regular Jpeg files. It allows us to fine-tune every image from your wedding day for perfect exposure and color. However, it also forces photographers to review every single image and also creates much larger files, which is why very few photographers can do this.
Do you have back-up equipment
Yes. We typically carry 3 to 5 complete camera systems to every wedding we photograph. We know that your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion, and we believe in leaving nothing to chance
Can you provide us with black and white, and sepia tone images?
Yes. Another advantage to digital is the ability to create striking, high-quality B&W and sepia-tone images without halting the shooting process to load black and white film. In fact, we automatically convert the images that lend themselves best to B&W from your wedding day
Can you perform retouching?
Yes. We perform all of our retouching in house and we can enhance, manipulate, or add special effects to any photographs you like at our cost
Can you create special effects, like creating a painting from a photograph or creating isolated color in black and white images?
Yes. Please ask and we would love to show you some of our latest creations!
Will you take photographs of the bride in preperation?
Absolutely!
How much time will you spend with us on our wedding day
You have a choice between 3 coverage options that offer the choice between 5½, 8 or 10 hours of coverage
How many photograhs can I expect to see for that amount of time?
A minimum of 500, 750, or 1000 respectively.
How will the photographs be presented to us?
In addition to your wedding album design and slideshow (see next question), you will receive all of your wedding photographs on CD. These will be lower resolution files that you are welcome to copy, email, and create screen-savers for your computer
Can you provide us with prints and albums?
Yes, we are here to help our clients from start to finish.
How do we design an album? Where do we start?
Since we like to provide our clients with so many great images from their wedding day, some of our clients have said that they would have no idea how to choose the photographs for their finished album. For that reason, we will provide you with an album design that is truly a work of art.
Can you create a slideshow of a wedding album design?
Yes, that is included with all of our coverage options, and it will be included on your CD.
Can we purchase extra CD's for friends and family?
Yes. We will do this at our cost of $15.00 per additional CD.
Do you include engagement photographs?
Yes. We have found that engagement photographs are a great way for us to get to know each other, and it also helps to reinforce a level of trust in your photographer on your wedding day.
Will we see you again before our wedding day?
Yes. In addition, to your engagement shoot, we recommend that you meet with your lead photographer approximately 1 week before your wedding date. To help you prepare, we will provide you with a checklist upon which you can indicate any special requests you might have.
Do you offer standard packages, or is there any flexibility?
We offer flexibility. Rather than trying to offer standard packages to fit the variety of tastes of all of our clients, we prefer to let our clients choose the package that will work best for them.
Anything albums or prints that you choose within 30 days of receiving your photographs will be discounted by 25%!
How can I retain the negatives or high-resolution files?
If you, your friends or family invest a total of at least $1500.00 in albums and or prints, you may retain all of your high-resolution Jpeg wedding files one year after your wedding date.
You may also purchase the high resolution files immediately, for a cost of $1000.00, but we do not recommend this. We are here to help.
Do you offer your past clients anything as a thank you for future referrals?
Yes. For every client who books with us, either for their wedding or other studio photographs, you will receive a $25.00 credit that you may apply towards any product or service that we offer.
